If you ever hear me complain about anything ever again, I give you permission to slap me
upside the head and remind me that I am so lucky to awake to this view every morning.
It is not all dreamy cups of coffee and watching the blue Morpho butterflies flit by. There is work to do. My Sisyphean task is weeding the driveway and the 2 meter wide gravel border around the house. The jungle with its weedy, green tentacles slither like skinny snakes into the attractive small pebble gravel on our driveway parking/turnaround area. I'm attacking a 1 square metera day with the spade and trowel. It is important to keep these clinging vines away from the cement and steel girders. I, also, want to keep the area clear so that I can see any creepy, crawly creatures approaching the house.
A good morning's work. Both M & I are feeling our backs after all this physical labour.
